リトアニア産の琥珀に、向日葵の蒔絵をしたペンダントです。

向日葵の真ん中の部分の筒状花を粗い金粉で表し、花びらを金粉で仕上げてから１枚１枚黄色の漆で縁取っています。

薄い黄色のほぼ透明な琥珀だったので、裏から緑の漆で葉っぱを描き、周りを粗い銀粉を蒔いています。

その上から夏の青空と雲を描いていますので、表裏どちらから見てもデザインされた作品となっています。

This pendant features a sunflower in lacquer on Lithuanian amber.

The tubular flower in the center of the sunflower is made with coarse gold powder, and the petals are finished with gold powder before being outlined one by one with yellow lacquer.

The amber was pale yellow and almost transparent, so the leaves were drawn with green lacquer from the back and coarse silver powder was sprinkled around it.

A blue summer sky and clouds are drawn on top of that, so it is a designed piece that can be seen from both sides.
