四角っぽい淡水真珠に蒔絵をしたピアスです。
山形県の加茂水族館で見た美しい水母を描きました。
金粉に何色かの色漆を塗った線で水母を描き、水の模様を銀箔で表しました。
真珠が凸凹しているので大変描きづらいのですが、光り方は面白いと思います。
繊細な蒔絵により、シンプルながらも存在感を放ち、どんなスタイルにも華やかさを加えます。

These square-shaped freshwater pearl earrings feature maki-e (lacquer lacquer) detailing.
I depicted the beautiful jellyfish I saw at Kamo Aquarium in Yamagata Prefecture.
The jellyfish is depicted using lines of gold powder coated with various colors of lacquer, and the water pattern is expressed with silver leaf.
The pearl's uneven surface makes it difficult to depict, but I think the way it shines is fascinating.
The delicate maki-e design gives them a simple yet striking presence, adding a touch of elegance to any style.
