様々な素材を使った かんざしです。
木を三角形にカットし、漆の下地をした上にべっ甲を貼り付け、その上に蒔絵で文様を作っています。
裏面には、青色の漆を塗った上に別の蒔絵をして、オパールを象嵌していますので、後ろからも美しく見えます。
そこに、朱漆を200回重ねた漆の塊に蒔絵をしたものと、黄色の琥珀、ブルーのローマンガラスを繋げています。
大変手間がかかった、豪華な作品です。
特別な日や日常のコーディネートに華やかさを加え、貴女の髪を美しく飾ることでしょう。

This hairpin is made using a variety of materials.
Wood is cut into triangles, lacquered, and then tortoiseshell is applied. A pattern is then created on top of this using maki-e (Japanese gold lacquer).
The back is painted with blue lacquer, then another maki-e (Japanese gold lacquer) is applied, and an opal is inlaid, making it beautiful from behind as well.
A block of lacquer made from 200 layers of vermilion lacquer is then joined with maki-e (Japanese gold lacquer), yellow amber, and blue Roman glass.
This is a luxurious piece that took a great deal of effort to create.
It will add a touch of elegance to your outfit for special occasions or everyday wear, and will beautifully adorn your hair.
