ピンクがかった淡水真珠に蒔絵をしたイヤリングです。

上半分に朱漆や金粉などを何度も重ねて下地を作り、その上に細かく花を散らしています。

下半分は真珠をそのままにして、錦のような蒔絵の重厚さとの対比を見せています。

真珠と漆の輝きが耳元を華やかに演出し、さまざまなシーンでのコーディネートを引き立てます。

These earrings feature pinkish freshwater pearls with maki-e (gold-lacquered) accents.

The upper half is layered with multiple layers of vermilion lacquer and gold powder to create a base, on which delicate flowers are scattered.

The lower half is left bare, creating a contrast with the richness of the brocade-like maki-e.
