珍しい楓の葉っぱの形をした琥珀を使った 簪です。
山型にカットされた面の半分に金粉を蒔いた後、朱漆を塗って研ぎだしています。
それから、金で、縁取りをするような感じで蒔絵をしています。
中心にはオパールを嵌めて、楓の葉っぱに乗る水滴を涙に見立てています。
黄色の琥珀と朱漆の色が、秋の空気を運んでくれます。
シンプルな着物やカジュアルなスタイルに、特別なアクセントを加える小物となっております。

This is a rare hair ornament (kanzashi) made with amber in the shape of a maple leaf.
Gold powder is sprinkled on half of the mountain-shaped cut surface, then vermilion lacquer is applied and polished.
Furthermore, gold maki-e (lacquerware with gold or silver inlay) is applied to create a border-like design.
An opal is set in the center, and the water droplets on the maple leaf are meant to resemble tears.
The yellow of the amber and the vermilion lacquer evoke the feeling of autumn.
This accessory adds a special accent to simple kimonos or casual styles.
