蒔絵ペンダント・ブローチ【真美】/　木・べっ甲・K18

木を楕円形にカットして 漆の下地をしてから、側面に虹色の貝を貼り、正面にはべっ甲を貼ったペンダント・ブローチです。

べっ甲の上に、何度も漆で盛り上げて作る高蒔絵で薔薇を描きました。

花は金粉の上から白とピンク色の漆を塗り、葉っぱは青金で作っています。

裏側は梨地仕上げにしています。

べっ甲の表情に映える薔薇の花と、側面の貝の光がどこから見ても美しく、光の加減によって色合いが変わるのも楽しみのひとつとなっています。

また、素材が木なので大きさの割に軽いので使いやすいかと思います。

ペンダントとしてもブローチとしても使えるので、シーンに応じてアレンジが自由自在です。普段使いはもちろん、ご自身の大切な人にプレゼントしても喜ばれるアイテムです。


＊K18の針は割と曲がりやすいので、予め安全ピンなどで穴を空けてからお使いください。

This pendant brooch is made by cutting wood into an oval shape, applying a lacquer base, pasting rainbow-colored shells on the sides, and pasting tortoiseshell on the front.

A rose is painted on the tortoiseshell with Takamaki-e, a technique that involves repeatedly applying lacquer.

The flowers are made of gold powder, with white and pink lacquer applied over it, and the leaves are made of blue-and-gold.

The back side has a matte finish.

The rose flowers that stand out against the tortoiseshell and the light on the shells on the sides are beautiful from any angle, and the way the color changes depending on the amount of light is also a fun part of the piece.

Also, since the material is wood, it is light for its size, so I think it is easy to use.

It can be used as both a pendant and a brooch, so you can freely arrange it depending on the occasion. It is an item that is perfect for everyday use, and would also make a great gift for someone special.

*K18 needles are quite easy to bend, so please make a hole with a safety pin or something before using it.
