蒔絵バレッタ【聖音】/　木・合金

ブナの木で作ったバレッタに蒔絵をしました。

日本の伝統模様に”立湧”(たてわく)模様というものがありますが、これを横にしたデザインで制作しました。

波打った線の内側は、細い線で文様を金粉と鮑貝で作り、研ぎ出し蒔絵の技法で仕上げています。（フリーハンドで対称の文様を描いているので、特に気を遣う仕事です。）

外側は粗い銀粉を蒔いて、梨地仕上げとしました。

アンティークのようなデザインで、昔ながらの美しさとデザイン性を備えた一品です。

This beech wood barrette has been decorated with maki-e.

There is a traditional Japanese pattern called "Tatewaku" (standing wave) pattern, and this design is a horizontal version.

The inside of the wavy lines is made of thin lines of gold powder and abalone shell, and finished with the togidashi maki-e technique. (This is a particularly delicate job, as the symmetrical pattern is drawn freehand.)

The outside is sprinkled with coarse silver powder for a matte finish.

This item has an antique-like design, and is a piece that combines traditional beauty and design.
