青森県で採れる錦石(瑪瑙の１種)で作った帯留めです。

ドロップ型の石の中側にピンク色の貝を敷き詰めるように漆で貼り、その上に高蒔絵で牡丹の蒔絵を施しています。

花びらが多いので盛り上げるのが難しいのですが、出来上がると大変豪華な牡丹となりました。

錦石の色も変わっていて、上品で深みのある色使いが特徴の素敵な作品です。

＊３分から４分の平紐用の金具になっていますので、ご注意くださいませ。

This obidome(Obi fastener) is made from Nishiki-ishi (a type of agate) found in Aomori Prefecture.

Pink shells are lacquered inside the drop-shaped stone, and then peony designs are applied on top with taka-maki-e.

It is difficult to make the petals stand out because there are so many, but the finished product is a very gorgeous peony.

The color of the Nishikiseki is also different, and it is a wonderful piece that features elegant and deep colors.

*Please note that the metal fittings are for 3-4 minutes flat string.
