蒔絵リング【のんびり】/　琥珀

リトアニア産のミルキーホワイトの琥珀に、うさぎ と亀を高蒔絵した作品です。

リングの周りを緑系の漆と金で草原を表わした文様を作り、その上に おやすみ中の うさぎ と 歩いている亀を描きました。

琥珀の塊を くりぬいた琥珀のリングは最近では珍しく、ミルキーホワイトのものは特に貴重です。

琥珀の優しい色合いと、蒔絵と色漆で描かれたデザインが、和の美を感じさせる作品です。

This piece features a rabbit and a turtle in taka-maki-e on milky white amber from Lithuania.

A pattern of grassland is created around the ring with green lacquer and gold, and a sleeping rabbit and a walking turtle are painted on top.

Amber rings carved out of amber blocks are rare these days, and milky white ones are especially valuable.

The gentle color of the amber and the design painted with lacquer and colored lacquer give this piece a Japanese beauty.
