蒔絵ペンダント　【若菜】/ 琥珀、K18

リトアニア産の黄緑っぽい琥珀に、源氏物語の 若菜上 の巻のシーンを蒔絵で制作しました。

猫が遊んでいたら繋いでいた紐が御簾に絡まり、御簾を上げてしまい、女三宮を柏木が・・・の有名なところです。

右上に 上がりかかった御簾を蒔絵していますが、中でも 竹の横棒を何本も引くの作業に大変気を遣いました。

左下に三毛猫を描きました。実際はどんな猫なのか分かりませんが、なんとなくです。

上品かつエレガントな平安絵巻の１節を胸元にいかがでしょうか。

A scene from the Tale of Genji, Wakana no Ue, was created in lacquer on yellowish-green amber from Lithuania.

The famous scene is when a cat is playing and the string that was holding it gets tangled in the blind, causing the blind to be raised, and Kashiwagi saves the Third Princess.

The blind is lacquered in the upper right corner, and the most important part was pulling the bamboo bars.

A calico cat is drawn in the lower left. I don't know what kind of cat it is, but I guess it's just a guess.
