蒔絵リング【青色の衣を纏ひて】/ 木・べっ甲・トパーズ・シルバー950

丸くカットした木地に漆で下地をした後に、同じく丸くカットしたべっ甲を貼り付けます。

そこに、青色の貝を蝶の翅の形に敷き詰めるように貼り、体と触覚を青金で蒔絵しました。

シルバーでリングと台座を作り、両脇にブルートパーズを留めています。

最後に、蝶が描かれたべっ甲部分をシルバーに嵌めました。

鮮やかな貝の青色と金色に輝くべっ甲との対比が美しい作品です。

After applying a lacquer base to the round cut wooden base, round cut tortoiseshell pieces are attached to it.

Blue shells are then pasted onto it in the shape of butterfly wings, and the body and antennae are lacquered with blue and gold.

The ring and base are made from silver, and blue topaz is attached to both sides.

Finally, the tortoiseshell part with the butterfly design is set into silver.

The contrast between the vivid blue of the shells and the shining gold of the tortoiseshell is a beautiful piece.
