高蒔絵で花びらごとに盛り上げて、繊細に作っています。

金粉を蒔いた後に内側に朱漆を塗っていますので、黄緑っぽい琥珀によく映えます。

A rose flower is lacquered on Lithuanian amber.

It is delicately made by raising each petal with Takamaki-e.

After sprinkling gold powder, the inside is painted with vermilion lacquer, so it stands out well against the yellow-green amber.
